Budget Pinot Pack
Finding decent pinot on a budget is a tricky business, but here we have done the work for you. Two bottles each of an Australian, New Zealand and French pinot for under $150!
Our 2008 Wine Emporium Pinot Noir is made for us by the ultra-talented Nick Farr (By Farr and Farr Rising) using fruit sourced from the Mornington Peninsula. We believe it is ridiculously good value.
The 2009 Edge Pinot Noir is the second wine from Martinborough's Escarpment Vineyard, and the product of a terrific, warm vintage.
From France comes 2008 Domaine Francoise Labet Vieilles Vignes Bourgogne Rouge comes with a good score from Allen Meadows (Burghound) who calls it "... a terrific bourgogne built to rewrd ageing." It comes from 45-year-old vines in Chorey les Beaune.

Mac Forbes Yarra Valley Pack
Mac Forbes is fast becoming something of a cult figure amongst Australia's pinot noir and chardonnay fiends. He pushes the mantra of site, making wines from eight small vineyards within the Yarra Valley and Strathbogie Ranges. And the wines he makes are dramatically different from the mainstream - ultra-fine and bright with vibrant acidity and exceedingly fine fruit.
Mac was winemaker at Mount Mary and he credits Dr John Middleton as one of his greatest influences. Those of you who are familiar with the Mount Mary style will see it echoed in the Mac Forbes wines - in their perfume and delicacy.
The pinot noirs are ultra-pale and ethereal; the chardonnays tight, crisp and lean. Both will reward (in fact they demand) a few years in the cellar.
We have secured a parcel of his Yarra Valley Chardonnay and Pinot Noir at exceedingly generous prices, and are pleased to be able to offer these packs containing three bottles each of the 2007 Yarra Valley Chardonnay and the 2008 Yarra Valley Pinot Noir.

2008 Domaine Faiveley Offer
Domaine Faiveley currently have arguably the most complete holdings in the whole of Burgundy. With the addition of a raft of vineyards around the great Grand Cru's of Puligny-Montrachet and a range of Chablis, to bolster their already impressive array of Pinot Noir vineyards throughout the Cotes d'Or; they boast a range and diversity of vineyards that make their peers weep.
Since 2007 when 26 year old Erwan Faiveley was handed the reins, there has also been sweeping changes in the wine making facilities and the resulting wines in bottle. Faiveley have historically displayed heroic structure when young and really needed time in a good cellar to truly reward those who wished to see their wines at their apogee. Until now. Keeping this in mind Erwan has brought around a number of changes to achieve an end result that is much more accessible when young, but still pays homage to their historic house style.
