The second vintage of this new sibling in the range, the fruit is from the same vineyard “Cote Block”as the GC Chardonnay. The fruit is fermented with 50% whole bunches & yeast is wild, with grape stomping (pigeage) performed 2 to 3 times per day for 19 days before being sent to barrel for 18 months in French oak (Allier barrels) which 50% are new & then bottled.

“A bouquet of absolute intrigue and under growth. The elegant, yet savoury power that we are growing to love from the Cote vineyard wines is showing once again for both the Chardonnay and the RP Pinot Noir. The palate is lengthy and layered, it’s a Pinot that keeps giving with every minute in the glass”. Nick Farr
