"Château La Fleur de Boüard has been the estate’s first wine since 1998. Due to the innovative know-how of Hubert de Boüard, supported by his Technical Director, Château La Fleur de Boüard has fully blossomedand  is now the pillar of the Lalande-de-Pomerol appellation. The wine is aged for 15 to 18 months in oak barrels to preserve the fruit and produce silky, elegant tannins. With an intense and deep color, Fleur de Boüard offers a nose with a hint of red berries, blackcurrant and spices. The wine shows a good structure in mouth, soft and silky tanins. Its elegance and long length make it a vintage that stands out." - Chateau La Fleur

"Mint chocolate, cumin, toasted spices, black fruit and roasted herbs on the nose of this full-bodied and plush red. It’s velvety and encompassing with lots of richness, but balanced and well-integrated. Drink after 2026." - 94 points, Claire Nesbitt for James Suckling

"The 2022 Le Plus de La Fleur de Boüard is rich, heady and succulent. Black cherry, lavender, spice, new leather and incense build in the glass, filling out the layers and giving the wine notable complexity to match its succulent, generous personality. This is beautifully done. Shorter aging worked well here." - 93 points, Antonio Galloni

"Forward and fruity, a tangy grip to the freshly picked strawberries and raspberries and red cherry fruit. Almost delicate, the tannins are really well worked just giving a soft grip to the palate, but balancing the acidity and fruitiness. Juicy and slightly lean but this really works and is very apprahable and agreeable. Lovely freshness and push from start to finish. Great job. HVE certified." - 92 points, Georgina Hindle
