45 year old vines planted on Portlandian limestone (think Petit Chablis). Classic, crisp Sancerre that sees no oak - clean and fruity, very approachable now. The nose opens up on the classic old world Sauvignon aromas of gooseberries and peach, underlined by white flowers and minerality. Soft and easy drinking, but backed by a gentle acidity. Beautiful length and will shine as an apéritif or with summery salads with goat's cheese or seafood.
