THE WINES

2018 New Moon Chenin Blanc Pétillant Naturel - $41.50
Lifted notes of apples, pears and citrus. Gentle beam with cooked apples and some pear notes. Dry with a typical Pet Nat spritz.

2017 Moon Over Saturn Harvest Sauvignon Blanc - $24.50
A gorgeous expression of Sauvignon Blanc with subtle stone fruit nuances and very refined grassy undertones. Fantastic concentration with the oak providing further length. Marvellous combination of citrus, guava, nectarine with great minerality on the finish.

2017 Kevin John Chardonnay - $115
"Light, bright yellow hue, with a fresh and yet complex bouquet which is driven by refined fruit aromas, the oak and artifact is very much in the background. The complexities are there but subtle and the wine is still very young and unevolved. Bright acidity is in perfect harmony with the wine; the palate is refined and taut, long and beautifully modulated. Great line and length. A superb chardonnay, which is likely to offer even more if cellared a year or two." 96 points, Huon Hooke, The Real Review

"Finely wrought wine, lacy and pure, shows incredible acid line and a web of mineral, fruit and light savouriness surrounding. Drives with authority and precision across the palate, feels very pure, energetic and refreshing. An exceptional wine here, you get that from texture alone. Stellar release.” - 96 points. Mike Bennie, The Wine Front

2018 Dancing in the Moonlight Rosé - $22
"Pale salmon colour. Rose water, rose hip flowers, light red berry notes, a touch of talc. Good scents. Light sweetness in the palate, chalkiness in texture, limey acidity under more rose hip tea and pomegranate juice. And it is juicy, but finishes dry. It’s a lovely expression." - Mike Bennie, The Wine Front

2017 Mangan Vineyard Red Moon - $28
"A light, crisp, energetic red wine of crunchy red berry fruit featuring strawberry, cherry and pomegranate-like flavours. The bouquet is floral too, with big whiffs of pot pourri and faint green herbs lending character. It’s such a vibrant, electric mouthful of wine, skies away from the more elegant, shapely reds that make up the flagships of Cullen. Train tracks of sleek tannin lend some shape. In some respects, it’s a wild-edged wine, free form and eclectic, but can’t escape its pedigree, per se. A nerd in hipster clothing. I like it." 92 Points, Mike Bennie, The Wine Front

2016 Diana Madeline - $115
"Very deep, bright purple/red colour leads into a sweetly ripe, rich berry and violet bouquet which is fruit-driven, vibrant and fresh. Blueberries and herbs. Wonderfully elegant and piercingly intense. An outstanding wine." 97 Points, Huon Hooke, The Real Review

"A cabernet-dominated (93%) blend, matured for 14 months in French barriques (67% new). Fluid grace, elegance personified, no compromise. Extraordinary attention to detail. From the Wilyabrup district, the heart of Margaret River cabernet blends."  98 Points, James Halliday
