2017 Parterre Sémillon Sauvignon Blanc - $27
"The inspiration to make this “Graves” style of wine comes from Pessac-Leognan in Bordeaux.  An often-misinterpreted style of wine and one that is often overlooked for the Chardonnay, but has the genetics to far outlast Chardonnay in the aging stakes with its zippy acidity and predominance of Semillon.  These styles of Semillon Sauvignon Blancs offer far more complexity and interest and make better food wines than the usual stainless steel tank fermented SSB blends.  This style takes Semillon Sauvignon Blanc wines to a higher plane usually reserved for fine barrel fermented Chardonnays and are well worth hunting down." - Fraser Gallop

"Spicy biscuit oak, zesty lime and grapefruit, kaffir lime leaf, touch of nougat, whisper of struck match. Medium-bodied, intense fruit backed with tasteful spicy oak, gently chalky texture, a bit of sunshine pineapple and vanilla on a long crisp finish. Savoury elements in play, but not thick with winemaker influence, more into purity here. A spicy little unit. 2017 Estate Cabernet Merlot - $21
"A bouquet of blackberry, chocolate and a slight savoury undertone. More full-bodied this year with the longer than usual ‘hang time’. Blackberry, cassis and blueberry to the fore, with fresh, evident acidity, reflecting the cooler conditions of 2017. Attractive gravelly tannins to finish." - Fraser Gallop

2014 Parterre Cabernet Sauvignon - $36
"The inspiration for the Parterre Cabernet Sauvignon is taken from some of the great wines of Bordeaux. The aim is to use a number of techniques to emphasise complexity in a single vineyard wine and to make a wine that allows the fruit to shine; complemented by premium oak, while maintaining great structure and finesse. This is done by the addition of small amounts of Petit Verdot, Merlot and Malbec and the use of a number of different techniques during fermentation of the Cabernet Sauvignon. Our belief is that by doing all this we have made the best wine possible, and that it truly reflects the place in which it is grown." - Fraser Gallop


2015 Palladian Cabernet Sauvignon - $85
"This has an extraordinary long finish and after taste, built on varietal purity.  It's ethereal, a word I cannot remember using for Cabernet.  The texture too, is exceptional, the oak absorbed into the wine essence." - 97 Points, James Halliday, The Weekend Australian
