If you love great white Burgundy, set your sights firmly on Domaine Bernard Moreau in Chassagne-Montrachet. Brothers Alex and Benoit deliver a stunning portfolio of wine with each of their bottlings regarded among the best examples in their category. A Moreau white wine is nicely concentrated and full flavoured, delivered with purity and elegance. Every wine here is worth your attention, but pay particular attention to their Bourgogne Blanc and Chassagne-Montrachet Village as the value plays.
While they possess small holdings in Vosne-Romanée, including the great “Suchots” 1er Cru and Romanée-Saint-Vivant Grand Cru, Domaine de l'Arlot are most famous for their Nuits-Saint-Georges Monopole 1er Cru "Clos des Forêts Saint-Georges”. Winemaker Geraldine Godot has taken these wines to new heights in recent years, producing wines of fullness, purity and excellent balance. We have their terrific 2016s on offer plus a handful of 2015s re-released from the Domaine.
