2015 Fontodi Offer

Fontodi Pieve

Fontodi's unique location and terroir have defined their wines for centuries now  - high altitude,  limestone, with clays and schist soils, lots of light, and a fantastic micro-climate that's warm and dry with a marked difference in day and night-time temperatures all work symbiotically to produce wines of purity, power and  so extraordinarly perfumed.  This week we're offering out their latest release; the brilliant 2015s that saw Chianti Classico truly shine in this warm vintage. The wines are due to arrive in a few weeks, cool weather permitting, but we'll be taking pre-orders now that we'll fulfil as the wines come in.

Quite the opposite actually - we're offering out some back vintages on some ready to drink reds from both right and left banks and for pretty much every budget. All the wines were perfectly cellared and inspected by our team of wine geeks and most of them were also tasted, and, people, there are some gems here. All the details below.
