// Grenache from Mark Walpole's vineyard at Fighting Gully Road
"Established in 2016 as Company Wine, Catlow & Company began as a project dedicated to crafting expressive, site-driven wines from Beechworth. Co-Founded by Chris Catlow, best known for his work with Sentio Wines, the label was born from a philosophy that values precision, balance, and a deep respect for terroir." - Catlow & Co, Winemaker
"Fermented in a small open top concrete vat with the inclusion of about 15% whole bunches strewn throughout. Pressed to a combination of seasoned Slavonian oak puncheons and ceramic egg for maturation. The wine was bottled after a year under DIAM closure." - Chris Catlow, Winemaker
"Pale ruby colour reminiscent of pinot noir. Lifted sandalwood and vanilla aromas. Bruised strawberry and red apple skin coupled with a bloody ironstone note. Elegant with a subtle stem spice. Palate is boney and delicate whilst offering the powdery tannin profile we love to see with fine grenache." - Tasting Notes, Winemaker
