"The Lavaux Saint-Jacques from Dugat-Py has a silky, bright cherry fruit aroma with hints of spice and mineral on the initial attack. The wine is supple and more open than is usually the case. It is fully ripe but fresh and lively, with a lingering finish and surprising depth. There is more volume and richness if less refinement to the medium weight plus flavors that are at once serious and mildly rustic on the beautifully complex and persistent finish.
