"Bright, light to medium yellow hue. The bouquet is complex, bready and shows maturity. There's a green apple note on the early palate and then it deepens into something much more interesting, with candlewax and bready flavours, apple and pear, too. The structure is intense and fine, focused and dry, with a seriousness that avoids austerity but would certainly drink much better with food than as an aperitif. Lively, but balanced, acidity.
