"Woody nose to start with notes of freshly baked puff pastry. The palate displays long grapefruit flavours with softer notes of peach, kernel and a generous dusting of cinnamon. There is sneaky concentration here with late flavours of cashew and butterscotch emerging on the back. Despite the dollop of sweeter fruit, the acidity here is long, taut and saline, emphasising firmer phenolics with hints of wet stone and oyster-shell minerality. No more than medium-bodied but it has restraint and an etched character. It will gain more complexity and additional weight with time in bottle but will likely always remain an elegant and more delicate style of chardonnay." - 94 points, Stephen Wong
