Description
"The 2023 Meursault Villages has an open-knit bouquet with candied orange peel and lime notes, nicely delineated with just a light fumé element. The palate is soft on the entry with plump tropical notes, low acidity and a dab of spice toward the finish. It's an easygoing Meursault for early consumption." - Neal Martin
"Moderate reduction overshadows the underlying fruit at present though there is both good freshness and energy to the delicious citrus-infused middle weight flavors that exhibit a hint of warmth on the sappy and balanced finish that needs better depth. Note that this is already quite forward and a wine that, if you don't have much patience, could be enjoyed young." - Allen Meadows
