Description / Reviews
"Maceration on the skins for approximately 2 to 3 days maximum in rotary fermenters with temperature control, aging in stainless steal tank for about 10 months. Intense violet, aromas of violets and black cherry. Dry but soft, delicate tannins, full taste of cherries and black cherry. Medium-bodied, easy drinking to be appreciated in the summer months, served a little chilled. In Italy it is considered an excellent everyday wine." - Producer Notes
"The 2024 Dolcetto d'Alba is a racy, juicy wine, like those of the past before climate change became so determinant. Succulent red cherry/plum fruit, sweet spice and new leather are front and center. Bright acids pull it all together on the perky finish. Aging in steel keeps the flavors bright." - Antonio Galloni, Vinous
